Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo before heading to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, which opened in 1901. It holds an extensive collection of priceless relics spanning over 5,000 years, including royal mummies, jewelry, and statues.
In the evening, you’ll transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, check in at your 5-star hotel for an overnight stay.

Start your day early with breakfast boxes provided by your hotel. Then, meet your Egyptologist guide and travel in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring ancient landmarks — the Abu Simbel Temples.

Located near the southern border of Egypt, these magnificent temples were carved into the mountainside during the reign of King Ramses II, around 1264 BC. Recognized today as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Abu Simbel is a true testament to ancient Egyptian engineering and devotion.

The complex features two massive temples:

• The Great Temple of Ramses II, dedicated to the gods Ra-Horakhty, Ptah, and Amun, as well as to the deified Ramses himself.
• The Small Temple, built by Ramses II in honor of his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari, one of the rare temples in ancient Egypt dedicated to a queen.

These temples also commemorate Ramses' victory at the Battle of Kadesh (1274 BC) and are known for their precise solar alignment, which illuminates the inner sanctum twice a year.

After exploring this incredible site, you’ll return to Aswan for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the Nile.

Later in the day, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo, where you’ll check back into your 5-star hotel for the night.
