Get ready for a day filled with wonder as you explore some of Cairo’s most iconic attractions, beginning with a guided visit to the legendary Giza Pyramids Complex — one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Your expert Egyptologist guide will walk you through over 4,500 years of history, starting with the Great Pyramid of Khufu, built around 2570 BC. Standing at an original height of 147 meters (481 feet), it's the only remaining wonder of the ancient world — a truly awe-inspiring sight.
Next, marvel at the mysterious Great Sphinx, carved from a single limestone block and believed to represent King Khafre. Nearby, you’ll visit the Valley Temple, used for the mummification rituals of royal figures during the 4th dynasty.
Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) — a modern architectural marvel that houses thousands of ancient artifacts. Highlights include:
The Hanging Obelisk
Statue of King Ramses II
Statues of King Senusret
The Grand Staircase
Victory Column of King Merneptah
Royal Regalia
Ptolemaic-era statues

The complex features two massive temples:
These temples also commemorate Ramses' victory at the Battle of Kadesh (1274 BC) and are known for their precise solar alignment, which illuminates the inner sanctum twice a year.
After exploring this incredible site, you’ll return to Aswan for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the Nile.
